Yeah really sorry for the delay on this…we have been busy looking at buses from La Paz to Uyuni with Bolivia Hop that Machu Picchu has taken a little bit of a backseat for now…maybe next year I am afraid!

It’s an incredible sight and one that getting up early commands. A strong suggestion, unless you’re fit…. take the bus. Sure it’s more expensive, but it will save you an hour of punishing walking and give you more time and energy to see what your’e hard earned cash has paid for. You haven’t seen Peru until you’ve been to Machu Picchu.
