La Paz to Copacabana to Cusco

Pick up at your hotel or hostel in central La Paz.

Bus starts pickups between 6:30am – 7am. Your pick up time will be on your confirmation once you put your hotel/hostel.

• Climb ‘El Calvario’ hill for amazing panoramic views of Lake Titicaca at sunset
• Visit the sacred church and pilgrimage center of the Basilica de Nuestra Senora de Copacabana
• Hire a kayak or duck-shaped pedal boat and head out onto the lake

Isla del Sol: According to Inca legend this small island in the middle of Lake Titicaca was home to the sun god Inti, and was the mythical birthplace of the original founders of the Inca Empire. A 4-hour round trip voyagein our private boat takes you out to see the ancestral terracing and ruins of the southern part of the island as well as the existing island communities (includes a 1-hour walk from the original sun temple to the small island town of Yumani). Includes island entrance fee.

We recommend spending at least 1 night in Copacabana so that you can get to know the city. We recommend spending at least 3-4 nights in Cusco, (not including a trek to Machu Picchu) so that you can experience as much of the Inca capital as possible.
