Happy Friday! I’ve got another round-up of recent outfits for ya today and a round-up of my favorite Patagonia jackets! You can see previous outfit round-ups here, and I try to post my outfits daily in the LikeToKnow.it app so be sure to follow me there if you want to see fashion content more regularly. That app also lets save outfits to shop later, which I love. I find so many great things from other fellow bloggers in there! It’s free – just download and then search for afoodiestaysfit to follow me.
Okay, onto recent outfits!
I had a girls’ night with my best running friend Kate last Friday and it was so fun to dress up and catch up! She drove in from Greenville, NC, which is about 3 hours from me – what a seriously good friend.

These heels are the BEST PURCHASE EVER. I got them for our wedding and have worn them almost once a week since. They’re an investment but they’re timeless and go with everything – dresses, jeans, jumpsuits, everything! Whenever I’m not sure what shoes to wear for a date night or a nice night out, I can always turn to them.
I wore this simple black dress to Tommy’s work holiday party. I got it at Marine Layer in San Francisco earlier this year and I seriously LOVE their clothing. It’s so soft and everything fits so well. They don’t have this dress anymore but hopefully they bring it back!

This J.Crew turtleneck is so dang soft. Hence… the name Supersoft Turtleneck. 🙂 It’s not itchy and fits true to size. I got an XS, and I plan to buy more colors since it’s 40% off right now! Also, a note about those booties – I’ve been on the hunt for 5+ years to find the perfect flat booties that aren’t too casual or too moto. These are PERFECT!!!!!! (And Tommy is glad that I no longer complain about how hard it is to find black booties.) I sized up a 1/2 size.

I loved the look of the longer sweater with my long puffy coat too!
I wore this for a date night last weekend. Cozy and warm sweater paired with heeled booties was perfect for a chilly night!!

I find oversized sweaters dressed down easily too. Just as cute paired with sneakers as with booties like above. And I wore this outfit 2x in one weekend while in NYC. Just so comfy and cozy!

This blazer is seriously my favorite. I invested in it two years ago and have never regretted. I’m not sure how well I like it layered over that sweater looking back now, but eh, whatevs.

Cashmere sweaters forever and ever amen. I LOVE this one from J.Crew that comes in literally 20 colors, and I plan to get them all. 😉 For reference, I bought an XS. And yes, I wear white jeans all year round. Hey, I put in a lot of work to find the perfect pair! Loving my Hunter boots too!

I realized the other day that I have seven Patagonias in my closet that all get worn regularly:
Their stuff is just so dang comfortable and fits so well! I’ve heard they have an amazing lifetime guarantee and customer service too. I’ve purchased directly from the Patagonia store in person (usually when I’m in Utah 🙂 ), from Backcountry and from Nordstrom.
Tommy also loves Patagonia! He owns these and also wears them all regularly:
Hope you have an AMAZING weekend leading up to the holidays!!!!! xo

How does the sizing go for Patagonia? I want to invest 😉
I find it runs true to size for the most part! I buy XS in everything! the one exception is the Los Gatos vest which I felt ran a little small! I wish I’d gotten a small. It’s fine but just a little snug!
Can you share which mirror you have at the bottom of your stairs? It looks SO BIG and I need it! 🙂
